THE JOB

King Creative Group (KCG) is is looking for an ATLANTA-based creative, analytical, strategic Marketing Director to build and lead a marketing team at a fast growing hip hop record label. The ideal candidate will be passionate about establishing the infrastructure and systems required to develop and execute successful marketing strategies for emerging and superstar recording artists.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ideate creative ways to further engage with artists to build connections with their fans.

  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market artist marketing and fan engagement strategies based on analytics and insights.

  • Establish mid and long term goals for artist marketing strategies: core target markets, competitive target.

  • Manage all aspects of artist and label marketing initiatives from conception to completion

  • Oversee album promotion planning and operations.

  • Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and marketing resources.

  • Create innovative and compelling music and artist campaigns.

  • Manage an audience segmentation strategy for fan acquisition, retention, and prospecting.

  • Research and analyze fan engagement and fandom development.

  • Establish, track, and measure KPI aligned to artist and company goals, objectives.


ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) Marketing/ Business Communications, PR Preferred.

  • 5-10+ years marketing experience in entertainment, brand, marketing experience.

  • Experience with creative strategy, leading marketing campaigns internally and externally with partners such as Spotify, Apple, YouTube, Instagram & Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Triller, Pandora, Soundcloud, and more.

  • Experience building, operating and executing large scale marketing programs.

  • Experience using data, analytics, and insights to measure effectiveness, reach, and impact.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills across a diverse group of stakeholders.

  • Developing and executing music and album release campaigns.

  • Experience in audience segmentation and development in music/entertainment industry.

  • Expertise across all digital platforms and channels pertaining to music and entertainment.

  • Expertise in music, culture industry and Millennial, Gen Z/Alpha consumer markets.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Active and nimble learning ability.

  • Creative thinking that can turn unknown needs into opportunities.

  • Proactive and effective problem solving skills.

  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
